28th july 2008, a duewag high-floor tram leaving hauptbahnhof. these trams dating from 1981 are now the oldest to still see service in freiburg, and the only all high-floor cars.

2nd february 2008. to mark the 40th anniversary of massive student protests agsinst tram fare increases in freiburg, preserved gt4 number 109 ran as a special service with an exhibition on the event. the route number 68 of course marks the year. freiburg never used such high numbers for tram routes. here 109 is seen at hauptbahnhof.

29.6.15. stadtbahnwagen 214 was once the pride of freiburg's fleet. delievered in 1981, the car even had a children's book dedicated to it. but alas the car is approaching the end of its working life in freiburg. with its ugly led destination displays, it certainly looks a mere shadow of its former elegance.
