5th february 2008. vbg citaro buses meet at bahnhof glattbrugg. transition from the old to the new vbg livery is making some buses look patchwork. the sbb railway from zürich to bülach and schaffhausen is in the background. in the foreground the tracks of stadtbahn glattal can be seen. when this opens at the end of 2008, it will replace the buses on the airport service.

tram subway glattbrugg
26th July 2007, View of the tram subway at Glattbrugg under construction taken from a Winterthur-bound train. The subway passes under this line and then runs parallel to the Bülach railway visible on the left. It then emerges at Glattbrugg station. The subway is being built for thze second phase of Stadtbahn Glattal and will be used by airport-bound trams.

17th April 2007. The tram will emerge from its subway through the new opening in the embankment (centre of picture). This embankment carries a road over the railway line. In the past, when the old ZOS tram service still ran here, it used a level crossing instead.
