As a design study in preparation for the new generation of tramcars, one double set of Mirage was internally refitted. It has attractive clean wooden seats and indirect lighting. Unfortunately, too few of these features were finally adopted by the Pininfarina team in the final design of the COBRA. Externally, the new car carries a sliver livery inset with hunderdes of mini portaits. It is known as Regenbogentram.

The set is seen here on Badenerstrasse approaching Luggweg on 16th March 2002.
