December 2000, Halle tram on the seafront in Alicante La Marina. This Siemens tram was visiting Alicante for demonstration purposes. The buffers in the background mark the limit of the "trenet" railway. The demonstration tram line continues beyond this to Puerta del Mar. Alicante's landmark, the Santa Barbara castle atop Mount Benacantil forms the backdrop.
